We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Legal Administrative Assistant to work alongside our friendly and experienced legal administration assistants in the Dispute Resolution & Litigation team. This role involves working closely with the team day to day providing administrative support across the Litigation teams as well as providing leave coverage when the senior legal admins take a well earnt break.
This role is suitable to a junior candidate who is looking to commence their administrative career in a professional services environment. This truly varied role will see the successful candidate gaining exposure across our entire Litigation practice, becoming a valued and integral addition to the team.
The team you will work with will be great role models for you as you start out your career in the legal industry. You will receive exceptional on the job training.

The role:
With no two days the same, some of the tasks you will see yourself completing are;
- General administrative duties such as document management, filing and binding
- Opening and closing matters, conducting conflict searches
- Attending to time entries, processing third party invoices, team expenses
- Preparation of documents including letters, contracts and general correspondence
- Assistance with court document preparation and drafting
- Provide assistance with monthly billing
To succeed in this role you will ideally have;
- Motivation to commence a rewarding career in a professional services environment
- A customer service approach, with the confidence to build relationships
- Strong initiative and the willingness to learn, undertaking whatever task is thrown your way
- Willing to undertake a Certificate III in Legal Studies or Business Administration (Legal Studies)
- Have excellent communication skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to pick up new systems quickly
