Junior Managers - Various Roles - North Of The River Venues

Varsity are looking for Junior Managers (Duty Managers, Assistant Venue Managers 4IC/3IC) across our venues in Innaloo, Northbridge, Nedlands, Morley and Joondalup!

Purpose

Simply put, the job of a Varsity Junior Manager is all about supervising the shift and leading a team of diverse personalities. Your main goal is to cultivate the perfect Varsity employee by ensuring adherence to procedures and providing training support.

Responsibilities

Staff Training and Operational Excellence:

• Get the best out of our team through engaging training and team-building activities. Show them that mixing cocktails and having a blast go hand in hand. Manage the running of shifts, overseeing staff breaks, clock on/off procedures, and role assignments with unwavering precision.

Communication Guru:

• Display your mastery of communication arts by effortlessly navigating through platforms like SLACK, BEPOZ, Teams, and more. Keeping the team connected and entertained is your superpower.
• Handle RSA auditors and authorities, ensuring compliance with responsible service of alcohol and all relevant legislation.

Venue Atmosphere Aficionado:

• Create an atmosphere that exudes fun, cleanliness, and maintenance. As soon as guests walk in, they should feel like they should be wowed by the welcoming atmosphere in the venue.
• Teach our team the art of perfect customer interactions with a touch of flair. They'll learn to make every customer feel like a VIP.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a bar or hospitality setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of different types of beverages, cocktails, and their ingredients is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
