Junior Mechanical Engineer
To be successful in the role you will need the following.
- Exceptional Verbal & Communication skills.
- Sound computer skills.
- International Costings & closing of supplier Invoices
- Previous experience with transportation engineering an advantage
- Previous Industry experience in a similar position.
- Strong attention to detail & the ability to multitask
- Previous experience with AutoCAD an advantage (but not essential)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or suitable industry experience
- Completing new project concept design and preliminary analysis.
- Checking design and drawings.
- Sourcing quotes,
- Key focus on this roll will be procurement
- Working with suppliers and vendors to secure the right equipment/parts
- Preparing and monitoring project schedules.
- Preparing manuals for projects
- Integrating the overarching design, stakeholder requirements and discipline engineer work.
- Engineering / layout of drawings.
- Maintenance and operational documentation.
- Assisting with, and at times preparing, estimates and scoping projects.
- Assisting factory acceptance testing.
- Further developing and implementing internal systems, specifications, and standardization.
