Maitland HospitalAbout the role:This position is a vital part of the Medical Administration Team at Maitland Hospital. You will be joining a dynamic Medical Administration Team undertaking a range of employment management activities for the doctors in training cohort in the Lower Hunter Sector. These activities include, rostering, orientation, education and support. The successful candidate will be based at Maitland Hospital.Our successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of Junior Medical workforce across Lower Hunter Sector (LHS), ensuring that the staffing and service needs of the facility are met. The Junior Medical Officer (JMO) Manager also ensures the training needs of Junior Medical Staff are met during their rotations across LHS, including coordination of JMO education. Responsible to the Operations Manager, Medical Administration, Lower Hunter Sector. The successful candidate can expect to receive an orientation to the role including the development of an appropriate support plan.Where you'll be working:
- The Maitland Hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including maternity, gynaecology, paediatrics and special care nursery, medical service and rehabilitation, surgery, orthopaedics and day surgery. We have a busy emergency department and an adult intensive care unit as well as mental health, dental, renal and diagnostic services onsite.

- Hold a relevant degree or other health qualification deemed equivalent by the employer, and eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association or demonstrated relevant experience for the role.
