This is an entry level-role, suitable for a recent school-leaver, graduate, or someone in the early stages of their career.
Manual labour (moderate lifting) is a requirement of this role and as such, a pre-employment medical will be required.
The role is based in our busy Head Office accounts payable department as a Junior Office Assistant.
Accountabilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Responding to phone and email enquiries
- Faxing, scanning, photocopying, filing
- Handling archiving and storage facilities
- Stock-taking and ordering food, stationery & supplies
- Maintaining office kitchens, storerooms, and stationary cupboards
- Maintaining printer rooms with paper supplies
- Out of office errands and ad-hoc duties as required
- Ordering and distribution of supplies and staff amenities
- Collecting, sorting and distributing mail
- Preparing boardrooms for weekly meetings
- General office duties
- Some moderate to heavy lifting will be required for the above duties
- Dealing with all levels of staff up to and including Senior Management
Required skills & experience:
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- High attention to detail
- Sound reasoning skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive "can-do" attitude
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
