Job Title: Junior Office Assistant

Reports to: Laboratory Manager
Status: Permanent Full Time
Position Purpose:
The Office Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting our diagnostic laboratory team by handling various administrative tasks such as data entry, office management, and documentation. By ensuring smooth operations within the laboratory office, you will contribute to the overall success of the team's objectives.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Accurate data entry and maintenance of laboratory records and administrative documents.
• General office duties including answering inquiries, responding to emails, filing documents, and managing office supplies.
• Assisting in the preparation and distribution of reports, memos, and relevant documents.
• Coordinating appointments, meetings, and events for the laboratory team.
• Ensuring data integrity and compliance with established protocols and procedures.
• Providing administrative support to clients and stakeholders.
• Upholding workplace health and safety standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
