One of our Receptionists has recently been promoted!

This opening within our Company would be ideal for someone who has recently finished school. This position is a great opportunity for a talented and ambitious Junior who wants to start a new Career. We want a driven Individual to join our friendly team and professional working environment. We are an Insurance Brokerage based in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast and has been operating for 14 years. 
 

We are offering a permanent full-time position to the right candidate who is enthusiastic, with a "can do" attitude and excellent communication and organisational skills. You must be well spoken with excellent literacy and be eager to apply yourself to learn all aspects of the business. 
 

Essential Duties Include:
 

  • Answering calls, announcing and putting calls through to the right recipients
  • General Office/Administration tasks
  • Liaising with Insurers and Clients via phone and e-mail
  • Handle all mail, both incoming and outgoing
  • Banking/Post Office/Shop runs

The Position has room for growth within the company which will Include 

  • Processing new policies, renewals, cancellations and mid-term changes
  • Data Processing (client and policy management systems)

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Must love writing, fluent with grammar
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Awesome Microsoft Office skills are essential
  • Email and Internet fluent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly personality
  • Positive attitude, solid work ethic
  • Good corporate professional presentation
  • Must be quick to learn new things and can handle a fast paced environment 
  • Must have own vehicle and be licensed to drive
  • You must be confident enough to take phone calls

Previous administration/reception experience is an advantage, but not essential as continual support and training will be provided.
 

This role represents an excellent chance for an ambitious and talented person to gain and develop valuable experience and skills in office administration within a friendly, professional and highly varied working environment.

Training Period and usual hours after completion of training will be, Monday -Friday 8.30 - 5.00pm with a 45-minute lunch break.
