Junior Payroll Officer

Assist in the day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring accuracy in processing, compliance with regulations, and timely distribution of payments.

We are looking for a Junior Payroll Officer to join our team based in Seven Hills.

• Process accurate and timely entry of payroll data, including hours worked, bonus, and deductions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless payroll processing.
• Support the generation of payroll reports for analysis and auditing purposes.
• Learn and stay informed on all relevant labor law, tax codes, award conditions and payroll regulations.
• Provide support in responding to enquiries (from employees and leaders) on payroll related matters.
• Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Basic understanding of payroll processes and relevant regulations
• Proficiency in using Microsoft excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills and willingness to learn
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & or 1-2 years of payroll experience. (Desirable)
• Experience utilizing Employment Hero (SWAG) Payroll System (Desirable)
