As a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, Penrhos Junior School is currently entering an exciting new phase. Following a period of successful strategic growth, we are pleased to have an opportunity for a number of caring and experienced Education Assistants to join our established team.
We are also taking expressions of interest for both full-time, part-time and relief Educations assistants.
The successful candidate will have a passion for providing pastoral and educational support to early years and Junior School aged students. The following criteria are essential:
- Education (Teachers’) Assistant Certificate qualification from a recognised education institution or demonstrated/ongoing study in relevant areas such as teaching, psychology, or allied health.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Commitment to the College’s Core Shared values of Respect, Integrity, Empathy, Knowledge, Growth and Synergy.
- Commitment to providing students with a safe, supportive and respectful learning environment.
