WATT Torque & Porta Power is a well-established family owned and operated WA business with branches in Karratha and Wangara, offering our customers the best possible solutions to their bolting and porta power needs.
We find ourselves on the hunt for an enthusiastic Workshop Assistant to join our busy hires department in Karratha.
WATT you will do…….
As a provider of Hydraulic and Pneumatic tooling including hires, service/calibration and repairs, the hire controller’s duties will include, but not limited to:
• Dispatch and Deliveries.
• Picking tools for customer hires and getting ready for collection/dispatch.
• Restocking shelves once hire has been returned.
• Cleaning tools from hire returns.
• Carry out general administration duties including the preparation of Calibration Certificates, checking off tooling from hire returns and entering service detail records.
• Supporting other Departments when required.
• Perform all other tasks as required
WATT we need from you…….
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Self-motivator with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to the task at hand.
• Intermediate computer skills with previous experience using Microsoft programs.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Prompt and reliable
• High Risk Licence – Forklift (preferred but not essential).
• Must have current drivers licence.
• Reside in Karratha or surrounding suburbs.
