Junior School Student Support Assistant | Permanent part-time, term-time | Commencing 2024
Suitably experienced and qualified applicants are invited to apply for a permanent part-time (40.5 hours per fortnight) Student Support Assistant role in our Junior School.
The opportunity
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Student Support Assistant to join our dynamic, co-operative team, to provide a vibrant, dynamic and innovative educational program for our students in the Junior School.
About the Role
You will be assisting and participating in learning activities, preparing learning areas and activities, and providing individual assistance to students, particularly those with learning, physical, social, or behavioural difficulties.

About you
The successful candidate will a passion for working with children and an active interest in inquiry pedagogy. They will be a confident self-starter who enjoys building relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of the College. Candidates must:

Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Education Support or pursuing a qualification in the education industry
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
