We have a unique opportunity for a full-time Property solicitor to join us on our expansion journey.
ABOUT YOU
You are an admitted solicitor with a minimum of 3 years + PQE in conveyancing / property law. You can complete conveyancing matters independently, with minimal supervision.
You are very comfortable speaking with new enquirers in person, over the phone or online.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in sales and purchases of NSW residential property. Experience with other states is a bonus!
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the use of PEXA
- Strong experience liaising and managing clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a high volume environment
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be working alongside specialist wills and estates solicitors, primarily on uncontested probate, assisting with the sale of deceased estate realty.
In our high-volume environment, day to day responsibilities involve:
- Conduct legal matters from beginning to end or as required
- Converting new enquiries
- Prepare and review Contracts for Sale for residential properties
- Manage a large volume of conveyancing matters through to settlement and, if necessary, supervise legal assistant support.
- Prepare property advice to clients
- Meeting clients
- Drafting, research and advising on legal issues
- Assist with probate / estate law matters as required (career development, education and support will be provided).
