The Kooringal Hotel are extremely passionate about delivering quality food combined with premium service. Our hotel has a commercial kitchen that services a large bistro, beer garden and function rooms. We host a range of events including social gatherings, business events & birthday parties.
The Role
You will be responsible for working within a large team. As the successful matched candidate your role will involve assisting in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen to drive revenue while helping to maintain a service driven team culture through a strong vibrant and customer focused team.
We're looking for organized people with previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and that are extremely passionate about food. This opportunity will suit hardworking and dependable individuals that would like the chance to become a pivotal member of our team.

The role requires you to work across a 7-day roster including nights and weekends.
The role includes.
Contributing to the overall day to day operations of the kitchen
Staff management and training
Customer Service
Ordering and stock control management
Experience
The successful candidate will be forward thinking, have a passion for the industry and a thorough understanding of food operations.
A good knowledge and understanding of dietary requirements.
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year experience as a Qualified Chef or Cook in a similar operation.
