At Crown Perth, memorable experiences are created by being passionate and working together. Dressed in your freshly laundered chef whites, you will be joining our busy and dynamic team in our Banquets Pastry department as a Pastry Chef.
Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, you will assist in all areas of operational requirements and staff management to deliver on the Crown Perth's vision, standards, and objectives through the daily running of the business operation.
About the role:
We have a great opportunity for a talented and dedicated Junior Sous Chef to join the team. You will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen to support the Chef de Cuisine with the daily operations. You will have good technical knowledge and culinary skills to ensure that all dishes are prepared in accordance with specification within this very fast paced open kitchen.
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Patisserie preferred)
- Experience in a 4- or 5-star environment.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Senior Chef role
- Demonstrable experience in people management and working within diverse groups
- Experiencing in Training and empowering others
- Knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity, Ethical Practice and Occupational Health and Safety
Salary Range $68,000-$78,000
