The Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Systems Administrator to join our national IT team based in Melbourne, however we are open to considering someone based in any of our six offices. The successful candidate will administer the systems infrastructure and provide application support to key platforms, including Exchange, Office 365 and Citrix. You will assist the Service Desk team when calls are escalated and assist with incidents when required, supporting all sites nationally
Key responsibilities include:
- Work directly with the Systems & Operations Manager and senior leadership team in the design and deployment of new technology platforms
- Provide technical support to staff and clients as required
- Perform application packaging and maintain the SOE
- Documenting infrastructure implementations (diagrams & procedures) and disaster recovery procedures
- Installing, configuring and updating server and network infrastructure
- Assist with defining access privileges, control structures, and access to resources
- Take a proactive approach to maintaining a strong cyber security footprint
Who We Are Looking For
The successful applicant will possess excellent attention to detail along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
We are looking for a team player with solid skills in the following:
- Ability to multi task and prioritise work accordingly
- Server/desktop/system/network troubleshooting experience;
- Proven experience managing a contemporary Active Directory environment
- Experience with Windows Server, Exchange, VMware, SCCM, SAN/NAS Storage architectures
- Experience in the administration of an extensive Citrix environment
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- High analytical and problem solving skills.
- Relevant certifications in Citrix, Microsoft or VMware highly regarded.
- Experience managing Application Control policies is highly regarded.
