Junior System Administrator

Purpose:

To assist in maintaining diverse Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure and implementing strategic IT plan. To provide ongoing IT helpdesk/support and evaluate new and emerging technologies to solve business problems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of assigned IT tasks and see it through the completion
• Research IT problems and develop solutions to support various aspects of the business
• Execute IT processes based on company policies and procedures
• Assist with IT procurement and the implementation of cost-saving initiatives
• Maintain quality service based on set standards
• Regularly report to the IS manager and escalate issues as required
• Administer Windows servers and clients and Linux servers
• Administer smart phones and VoIP systems
• Administer electronic access security and backup systems
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Support overall activities and objectives of the IS Group
• Lead Application tool development projects
• Lead projects to integrate SWSA processes with priority to introduce workflow systems
• Easy Redmine admin support
• Support monitoring of Access log system
• Support with Office365 applications
• Support user admin (onboarding/offboarding)
• General user support
• Standard Software deployment and inventory management
• Security Software management

Skills and experience Required:

• Experience : min graduate level
• Knowledge of Helpdesk/support
• Knowledge of Maintaining Linux, Windows clients/servers
• Knowledge of Maintaining AD
• Knowledge of cloud PABX / MDM
• Able to Maintain Web applications
• Able to Maintaining disaster recovery and backup systems
• Python programming
• Able to follow documented procedures
• Good communication skills and customer focused approach
• Self-motivated with high level of initiative
• Team oriented and able to work independently
• Have sound organizational and time management skills
• Excellent problem solving skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.
