As the Australian tax service team expands, we're seeking a Graduate or Junior Fund Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent entry point for those eager to delve into the world of in-house tax. You will report to the Head of Tax, receive full training, and gain a career mentor.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with senior counterparts for the accurate and efficient delivery of tax tasks.
Prepare comprehensive tax compliance calculations using software and Excel.
Foster seamless communication with internal teams, ensuring adherence to compliance and risk policies.
Actively contribute to projects, participating in the testing of tax templates.
Engage in ongoing tax training sessions, both internally and externally.
Represent the company at various events for promotional purposes when required.
Candidate Requirements:
Mandatory: Big 4 or top-tier training.
Possess at least one year of experience in a tax or audit role.
Demonstrate a clear intent to pursue CA/CPA qualifications in the future.
Showcase a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude with a history of results-oriented, detail-focused teamwork.
Exemplify excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
