Position Title: Key Account Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in the waste industry. The ideal candidate should possess 4-5 years of experience in the field and demonstrate a proactive attitude towards achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Key Accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of clients' businesses, objectives, and challenges.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of waste management information and data to major clients, adhering to business and contractual requirements.
- Ensure the implementation of waste management services as outlined in tenders, contracts, and periodic assignments.
2. Account Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each Key Account.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of strategies and resources to meet client objectives.
- Forecast and track Key Account metrics, such as sales targets, account growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify waste management solutions tailored to meet the needs of major clients and formulate new business proposals to expand our portfolio.
3. Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Lead the tender submissions and expressions of interest targeting key clients and potential opportunities.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, resolving any issues or discrepancies as they arise.
- Manage and oversee price review programs for major customers.
4. Problem Solving and Issue Resolution:
- Address any issues or concerns raised by Key Accounts promptly and effectively.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve complex problems and ensure client satisfaction.
5. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing Key Accounts and potential new markets.
- Assist in special projects as directed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Key Account management or sales, preferably in Waste Industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and objectives.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Skills and Attributes (Preferrable):
- Experience in Wastedge System and Power Bi systems.
- Certification in account management or sales (e.g., Certified Key Account Manager).
