What does the job look like?
Linfox operates Intermodal services across Australia providing competitive supply chain solutions. Our team operates an Australia-wide network with specialised facilities, road fleet and purpose-built rail containers to deliver point-to-point freight transportation using multiple modes of transport.
The Key Account Managers role is responsible for being conduit between all facets of the Linfox Intermodal business and its customers with the Primary goal of retaining, growing and servicing its customers in accordance with the business strategy. The Key Account Manager also ensures that Linfox perform and deliver the services in line with contractual requirements and ensures it is done so in line with the Linfox safety and commercial requirements. Key areas:
- Conducting financial analysis for revenue/profitability management for optimisation & growth
- Reviewing and establishing customer contracts & transport agreements for all customers
- Preparation of customer reporting and presentations (Contract Management)
- Collaborate cross functionally to resolve operational issues or carry performance/compliance issues adversely effecting, safety, freight costs or customer service
Manage and present customer Monthly and Quarterly meetings ensuring a strong and healthy partnership/s including customer reporting and presentations (contract management)
- Adherence at all times to the Linfox Code of Conduct. The code provides standards for appropriate ethical and professional behaviour. It is based on Linfox’s values of Loyalty, Integrity, Fairness and Trust which form the basis of, and underpin all of Linfox’s business relationships
- Work in a safe manner, in accordance with training, Safe Work Procedures and/or instruction
Are you the one?
- Solid experience in an Account Manager, sales or business development position (preferably in Supply Chain/Road/Rail Transport)
- Strong understanding of revenue models and commercial analytics
- Proven ability to effectively communicate cross functionally within the company and the customer
- Direct customer service experience
