The Job:
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be part of our National Sales team working 1 day a week at our Box Hill head office and the other 4 days where you choose. The main focus of your role will be Actively planning, directing, managing and growing our portfolio for Bunnings New Zealand.
Your duties will include:
- Increasing the sales revenue within the business line and account
- Achieving agreed budgets for sales, margin and expenses
- Reviewing vendor partners to ensure that you are effectively meeting the needs of the business
- Ensuring programs are executed utilising your display and category management skills
- Collaborating across the business to increase market share across your portfolio while supporting your colleagues to do the same
- Work alongside the Business Manager to complete weekly and monthly reports on progress against budget
The Person:

You also will have:
- Previous experience in Sales, Account Management, Category Management or similar.
- Experience working for Bunnings or servicing Bunnings as a customer would be highly regarded.
- Exposure to doing business with retailers in the New Zealand Market would be highly advantageous.
- Competencies in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- The ability to deliver exemplary customer presentations.
