We are currently recruiting for a Respiratory Key Account Manager in Queensland the Territory is QLD South (South Brisbane and the Gold Coast). The role of the KAM is to implement a Key Account Management Approach and partner with Respiratory physicians to ensure our life changing medicine is accessible to patients in need.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Queensland Specialty Care Manager, as the KAM you will generate clinical demand for our COPD products within Key Accounts, promoting the product in complex clinical environments. You will:
Identify opportunities and strategies to improve understanding and acceptance of AZ's products at a local level
Build knowledge and understanding about AZ's overall value proposition, and new product indications, efficacy and safety data among all relevant stakeholders
Work as a collaborative team to optimise business impact, and work cross-functionally to achieve targets
Develop and implement effective Key Account plans, analysing sales performance and implementing strategies to achieve business outcomes
Essential for the role
Prior Hospital/Speciality pharmaceutical sales experience
Experience managing QLD South hospital Key Accounts including sound knowledge of protocols
Relevant tertiary qualifications, ideally in the areas such as Science, Health, Business.
Proven exposure of building long, positive relationships with both internal and external customers in complex clinical environments
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with ability to think strategically
Desirable for the role
Demonstrated project/team/cross-functional leadership and the ability to be think creatively
Key account management experience in Respiratory – particularly with successful product launches
