An opportunity is now available for experienced Key Account Managerto join our team at our Sunshine Branch in Victoria.

We supply hoses to the CS Gas  as well as Space, Defence, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage and many companies around the world.

We are a Digitalised business that invests back into technology and have 3 CNC computerised laths, 4 manual lathes, 6 welding bay facilities, digital crimpers for making PTFE hose, rubber hoses, code hoses, we have a dedicated in-house pressure testing department with the capabilities of producing pressure graphs and certificates.

The Opportunity 

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Managerwho has a passion for sales has experience in the pharmaceutical and food sector with regard to industrial hose assemblies and wants to be part of growing the brand.

As a well established business, you will be supported by decades of experience and technical knowhow.

How You’ll Make a Difference 

This is a critical role within the Branch. You will have a clear focus on promoting the Pacific Hoseflex brand and selling our products to trade customers, distribution partners and corporate clients alike. 

You will be responsible for both nurturing existing relationships as well as identifying new opportunities to generate sales revenue and business growth.

The role is based in Sunshine, however regular visitation to our valued Victoria client base is a must!

Reporting to the Operations Director, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Establish rapport with potential clients through phone calls and face-to-face meetings to identify needs and determine solutions
  • Create and maintain relationships with current clients and contacts within the industry to increase business opportunities
  • Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within VIC 
  • Sell products or services to businesses or individuals through in-person presentations or over the phone
  • Prepare sales activities and results reports for presentation to the Operations Director
  • Maintain a portfolio of accounts to continue to grow existing business accounts/customers
  • Maintain list of potential clients who could benefit from the company’s services or products
  • Identify new business opportunities/new markets or products or services for the company to offer
  • Personally, contact and implement plans to secure new business and increase revenue

About you

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Significant experience in the field of industrial hose products and hydraulic engineering (experience in the Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage)
  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain customer focus and maintain ongoing, effective client relationships
  • Capacity to investigate and seek resolution to more complex technical matters
  • Proven ability to increase sales through product and service promotion
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution
  • Strong Computer Skills and data entry
  • Ability to use a sales ERP system
  • Ability to drive and champion growth and change
