About the role
Main tasks: Take ownership of maintaining and expanding relationships with key customers, influencing decision-makers at all levels.
Other tasks:
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and developing project strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet account performance objectives and exceed customer expectations
- Lead solution-based outcomes that address customer needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Maintain market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and make recommendations for product and service improvements
- Achieve sales quotas, profitability targets, and customer objectives defined by company management
- Contribute to innovation and problem-solving within the business.

What you must have to apply for this role:
- Experience in a sales role, preferably in steel fabrication or construction
- Demonstrable success in providing superior customer service & executing strategy
- Technical aptitude, business acumen, & strong negotiation skills
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
- Previous experience with road authorities, councils, & construction infrastructure
- Understanding of consultative & solution-based selling techniques
- Safety leadership experience or exposure to safety management systems.
