The Company:
Renowned for enhancing patient access to life changing therapies across the globe, this Pharmaceutical leader has a varied product portfolio and are pioneers in their approach. Their culture is renowned for valuing collaboration & developing their people internally and they have ambitious growth plans.
Due to internal promotion, they are seeking a new Key Accounts lead to increase their footprint across the ANZ market.
The Role:
Reporting to the Country Head, this role is tasked with owning all Retail Key Account activities. This role also involves leadership of portfolio expansion initiatives via Business Development & in-licensing activities.
Ultimately, you will hold responsibility for driving revenue growth & profitability.
This highly strategic role is a member of the Leadership team. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading, coaching, mentoring a high performing team
  • Highlighting new business opportunities
  • Strengthen relationships with Pharmacy banner groups
  • Lead & finalise in-licensing/acquisition agreements with external partners
  • Undertake market analysis & identify suitable assets to target
  • Lead all BD related activities & projects
Your skills & experience:
  • Local Pharmaceutical Sales experience essential (min. 8 yrs)
  • Generics experience adv.
  • Business development/In-licensing experience adv.
  • Proven networks across Pharmacy banner groups
  • Superior people management capabilities
  • Proven ability to 'close' acquisition/in-licensing deals
  • Superior Retail key account management expertise
  • Superior negotiation & influencing skills
  • Superior relationship building capabilities
  • High calibre project management capabilities
  • Superior forecasting capabilities
  • Excellent communication skill
  • 'Can do' & collaborative mindset
