What You'll Do
Our Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen operations are run effectively including:
- Support and assist the day to day operations of the kitchen
- Food preparation and preparing ingredients, cleaning vegetables, preparing dishes
- Using cooking equipment, utensils and machinery
- Delivery of balanced and nutritional meals and snacks
- Adhering to our high level of food presentation
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness
- Maintaining compliance of our Class 1 Kitchen
About you – Essential Criteria
- Experience in Kitchen Assistant
- Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen
- Experience in safety protocols and Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety (WHS)
- Previous experience working with teams
- Intermediate use of Office 365 programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Current and valid Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Ability to successfully obtain a valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
