Located on the Gold Coast at Varsity Lakes, Cameron’s Kitchen is a fast-growing e-commerce business that produces fresh, restaurant quality, ready-to-eat meals and delivers to the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions. This production kitchen operates Monday to Friday day shift hours which offers great family friendly working hours, with no split shift or weekend work.
Due to our strong business growth, we are currently looking for a Kitchen Hand (Food Process worker Level 2) to work in our well-organized kitchen, in a steady and productive work environment.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience working in commercial kitchens (Preferably in production kitchens, assisting Chefs, cleaning and plating)
- Strong work ethic.
- Full working rights.
- Very good communication skills.
- Experience working in a busy and fast paced environment.
- Good with numbers and switched on!
- The capability and desire to work in a clean and hygienic workplace.
- Possess good teamwork, as well as autonomously working skills.
- Great attention to detail.
This position advertised is on a Casual basis, working on average 28+ hours per week. Standard work times will be Monday to Thursday, 7:30am start, with occasionally a short Friday shift as well.
Tasks for this position include:
- Plating fresh food meals under supervision.
- Helping with labeling and sorting the finished meals
- General cleaning duties around a commercial kitchen environment.
- Using a commercial dishwasher to clean pots, trays and other kitchen equipment.
- Simple food prep tasks.
