Job description
Starting June 2024, 25 x Kitchen Hands are required for a hotel establishment in Port Hedland, Western Australia.
The roles will be offered on an ongoing basis.
25 x Kitchen Hands
Key tasks are:
• Keep food preparation areas clean.
• Clean kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Clean benchtops, floors, ovens and ranges.
• Receive, lift, handle and store food deliveries.
• Retrieve food items as requested by chefs.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Wash dishes, pots and utensils.
There is potential for staff to be upskilled and training will be provided.
These are full-time positions offering 38 hours per week. Pay rate will be at Level 2 in line with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award: $24.08 ordinary.
Shared room options for staff accommodation will be offered within the town at a short walking distance from the workplace. The accommodation charge is between $120-150 per week.
