Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Woodwork, Metal work or manufacturing or related field (Administration, Management, Community Services / or 5 years' experience in a relevant management role
- Duties
Strategically plan and manage the daily operations of Kokoda Industries, ensuring they meet their financial, operational, and community engagement objectives. - Establish a culture of manufacturing excellence within Kokoda Industries
- Ensure that systems and productivity standards are achieved, focussing on continuously improving processes as well as implementing longer-term strategic growth plans
- Achieve continuous improvement of customer service function, improvement of quotation systems, and recommendations for procedures.
- Lead, motivate, and manage teams across both divisions, promoting an inclusive culture that values diversity and supports the professional development of staff, including those with disabilities.
- Oversee comprehensive financial management tasks, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure the financial health of both operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) regulations, NDIS Quality and Safeguarding practice standards, actively promoting a culture of safety and risk management.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and customers to enhance the reputation and community impact of Kokoda Industries.
- Implement and oversee effective systems and processes to optimise operational efficiency, including inventory management, customer relationship management, and quality control.
- Demonstrated experience in a workshop / manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
- Working knowledge of NDIS service delivery
- Strong Financial acumen in budgeting, planning, quoting and analysis
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement and being a strong influencer
- Ability to communicate professionally and build effective relationships on all level.

Requirements for successful candidate
- Current NT Drivers Licence
- Access to your own vehicle (kms are reimbursed)
- National Police Clearance < 6 months
- Safe NT WWCC Ochre Card
- NDIS Worker Screening
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
