What does the job look like?

As the Kronos Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration and maintenance of the Kronos WFD system and equipment. You will provide essential support to the Payroll team and the entire business offering expertise in resolving and updating all WFD system related matters.

Key areas:

• Create required WFD functions (configure the application – pay policies/ accruals scheduling etc.) for any new contracts.
• Service Assets (Clocks/ Mobile APP) and Configuration Management and maintenance.
• Research problems independently and identify and root cause of issues using problem determination skills.
• Assist in maintaining Kronos support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures. Uses application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports.
• Assist in maintaining and developing new system tools and reports.
• Audit existing configuration to ensure in line with relevant EBA’s.
• Testing and signing off on configuration builds.

Reporting to the Kronos Team Lead, you will work very closely with the Business Units, Industrial Relations, and Payroll teams to ensure EBA and legislative compliance. You will assist in the performance and system monitoring and deliver solutions for the business.

The incumbent will also influence the following internal and external parties:

Internal:

• Key business unit stakeholders including:
• Operations Managers
• Payroll team
• Industrial Relations/ Human Resources
• Site Managers/ Administrators
• Fields Services (ADIT).
• Project Managers

 External:

• External suppliers/ service providers
• Agency Labour vendors

The role also involves building excellent working relationships within the different BUs across the group functions at all levels of the organization.

You can demonstrate:

• Demonstrated configuration and knowledge of WFD.
• Kronos WFD 3 - 5 years’ experience.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and an excellent understanding of information technology concepts and processes.
• Understanding of Awards, EBA’s and Legislation concepts.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Customer Focus.
