We are seeking diligent, well organised applicants, with a good eye for detail, to assist in our Laboratory. This is a great opportunity to work in a positive team and play a central role in the winemaking process. Lab Assistants are responsible for a range of tasks in order to accurately analyse and report results to Supervisors and Winemakers.

Duties will include:
- Performing routine wine and juice analysis and quality control procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Adhering to WH&S policies and procedures in the workplace
- Involved in routine sampling and analysis of tanks
- Performing maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Preparation of reagents used in chemical analysis
Qualifications/Skills:
- Effective literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Interest in science
- A focus on attention to detail
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Word
- Previous lab experience is desirable, however on-the-job training will be provided
- The ability to do shift work and weekend work during vintage will be required

This is an 8 hour day shift position with shift work required during vintage periods.
