We are pleased to announce a full-time opportunity for a Medical Receptionist and Laboratory Assistant in our laboratory. This role not only promises a fulfilling career but also offers a chance to advance within our company.
Austpath thrives in an advanced, computerized setting, consistently striving to streamline manual processes through cutting-edge IT solutions.
While not a requirement, a strong grasp of computer literacy is good.
The chosen candidate will adhere to a flexible Monday to Friday schedule, spanning from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with potential Saturday shifts following the completion of your training.
Reception Responsibilities:
- Establishing effective communication with medical personnel from hospitals, doctors' offices, and other pathology departments.
- Providing face-to-face assistance to patients.
- Managing phone-based appointment scheduling.
- Accurate data entry of patient and physician information.
Laboratory Responsibilities:
- Assisting at FNAB.
- Specimen reception and processing.
- Fulfilling additional duties as needed.
Required Skills:
- Proficient and swift typing skills
- Good communication skills.
