Our client offers an extensive selection of specialty chemical solutions designed to cater to various industrial needs. Their diverse product range is tailored for applications such as metalworking fluids, glass industry processes, transportation, engineering, and overhaul operations.
They are currently seeking a Laboratory Chemist responsible for perming technical service work for the business.
THE ROLE
- Quality Control of production batches.
- Completion of technical service work and related reports, as required by sales personnel and customers.
- Completion of corrosion testing and related reports for customers and sales personnel.
- Daily maintenance of corrosion test equipment and other laboratory equipment.
- Calibration work on laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to all Permit to Work (PtW) processes.
- Other tasks as required by the Technical Manager.
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
- Comply with the standards contained in the company Code of Conduct.
- Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects well on the Company at all times.
ABOUT YOU
- A degree in Chemistry with further experience in a metal finishing and/or speciality chemical manufacturing environment is desirable.
