Clean Oil Services is a Townsville based business, currently expanding operations, taking our unique Lubemaster technology to the world. We are focused on setting up partnership operations in The USA, Brazil, Chile and Peru. We lead the world in Lubrication Management Technology which is becoming a mandatory part of the operations for many mines, power generating and distribution companies, defence and many other processing and transport industries. We are rapidly expanding in many global areas which presents an opportunity for international travel for an enthusiastic candidate who must be reliable with an extreme eye for detail, an ability to learn quickly while producing accurate results and reliable analysis reports on which businesses can base their maintenance practices. 

We specialize in saving our clientele on lubrication spend by maximising the life of oils and achieving better production from their machinery with obvious environmental advantages.

Qualifications & experience

• Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline with ICP spectrometer and other analytical instrument experience
• Must be able to work efficiently and accurately with an ability to produce quality reports
• Willing to learn and diagnose results
• Must have an excellent grasp of the English language to write reports. Spanish would also be highly favored.

Tasks & responsibilities

• An autonomous position, processing oil samples for machinery condition monitoring and lubrication management
• The ability to work accurately with attention to detail is paramount. All training will be provided
• Sample preparation, instrument operation - ICP Spectrometer, Microscopic slide preparation and processing, Titration, Reading, interpretation and diagnostics of results
• Reporting to management
• Support our workshop with stock control and purchasing, logistics shipping both inbound and outbound, local and international
• This is a very versatile roll involving receptionist duties, invoicing, stock control and lab assistance
• A strong grasp of English language is mandatory and ability to speak Spanish would be an advantage
