We focus on positive communication, problem solving and are committed to providing the best in terms of clinical excellence.Lactation Services forms a part of our outpatient services for postnatal women wanting support to establish and maintain breast feeding post discharge. Women are able to self-refer at any time up to the baby's age of 7 months. The role also supports women and staff on the postnatal and Special Care Nursery, Child and Adolescent and Emergency Department, for women who need assistance with breast feeding. The
Lactation Consultant also provides education to staff on the ward.
