Job tasks and responsibilities
This role will see the right person working closely with site supervisors and the business owner to deliver quality, rewarding projects on time and within budget constraints.
It is expected that you will have a sound knowledge of all areas of hard and soft landscapes and be able to carry out set tasks from set out to completion as part of a team or independently.
Assist in the development of apprentices and engage in active supervision and training.
The right candidate will need to have a sound understanding of OHS requirements. and be able to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills and experience
· Minimum 3 years in the industry. Working in Parks (Re-furb and Build of Council Parks and Playgrounds)
· Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
· Bobcat, excavator tickets and experience with this machinery. (Desirable but not essential)
· Experience with all hard and soft landscaping elements
· Must be confident with Paving and concreting
· Ability to work as part of a motivated team
· Be hardworking, motivated & punctual.
· Cert III landscape Construction would be preferred but not essential
