The Role
Drawing on your current expertise, the role requires a candidate with 1 - 7+ years PAE with a proactive, client-oriented style, excellent drafting skills and demonstrated commercial acumen.
The role will see you working within a leading corporate team in a collegiate environment focusing on M&A, corporate finance and corporate/commercial matters. The team is regularly instructed on some of Queensland’s most exciting M&A transactions, acting for prestigious clients on their most important matters. You will have the ability to work across various sectors as you hone your technical and client skills with the support of the firm’s outstanding corporate advisory partners, Charles Sweeney and Andrew Corkhill.
As a valued member of our team, you will have the autonomy of conducting your own matters with direct support and coaching and mentoring of partners and senior lawyers. Well-developed communication skills and success in building collaborative relationships are essential, as is a results orientation and a ‘can do’ attitude. With a strong values-based culture your success in the role will require strong alignment with our values.
Whilst a full-time position within this team is available, we are also open to the role being part time if this is your preference. We encourage candidates re-entering the workforce, with commitments outside of work, school-aged children or other pursuits requiring flexibility to apply.
