Supported by a close knit in-house legal team, you will be reporting to the Group Counsel. Play a pivotal role in bolstering these platforms by collaborating with all teams across the business, offering sound legal advice and compliance advice to support the wider business objectives.
You will be responsible for identifying, understanding, and advising on data, privacy, consumer protection and financial services law. Beyond this, you'll engage in diverse legal domains, including leases, employee relations, corporate structures, and intellectual property issues. You will be given autonomy to manage, negotiate, and draft a wide variety of commercial/legal agreements (with a focus on technology and digital services) including service agreements, procurement contracts, non-disclosure agreements and IT agreements as well as provide advice on conflicts, risk, regulatory matters and insurance.
The role will suit a solution-focused general Corporate Commercial lawyer with 2-3 years' PQE. Practical knowledge of financial services, credit, privacy, consumer, intellectual property laws is advantageous however not necessary. This role offers a nurturing in-house environment for you to carve out an area of expertise and receive tailored professional development.
