We are looking for an experienced, motivated Lawyer to join our Family Law Team based in our Headquarters in Parramatta.
The successful applicant will be able to hit the ground running having:
- 1-2 years Family Law experience as a solicitor in a Family Law practice or law firm;
- experience across divorce, parenting, property, financial agreements, child support as well as appearing in court on their own when appropriate;
- current practising certificate from the Law Society of NSW;
- admission to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia;
- passion for Family Law, with the ability to meet with new clients on their own and provide sound advice on the law, strategy and entitlements;
- experience using a practice management system to effectively record time;
- strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products;
- excellent communication and teamwork;
- high level of organisation and prioritisation, initiative, proactivity and professionalism;
- strong attention to detail;
- a ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to work hard and treat clients with dignity and respect; and
- the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
