Our client's IP and Technology team is high performing, acting for high-profile clients on a range of trade mark and copyright matters as well as procurement contracts and competition and consumer law matters.
The Role
Owing to growth, our client is currently looking to hire a passionate IP and/or Technology Lawyer for their thriving Melbourne team.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside various members of the team, including three partners in Melbourne, as well as a small team of lawyers at various levels.
This role will see you advising major Australian and multinational clients on a range of IP and technology related matters. In particular, you will be responsible for advising on:
- Contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters;
- IP and technology commercialisation agreements;
- Privacy and consumer law matters;
- IP-related litigation, including enforcement matters; and
- Procurement and various other technology contracts;
The ideal candidate will be a driven and down-to-earth lawyer with between 2 and 6 years' Post Admission Experience in intellectual property and/or IT law. In addition, they will have:
- Contentious IP and Technology advisory experience;
- Excellent attention to detail and technical ability;
- A great work ethic and a willingness to work with and engage in a team environment.
