SOCAP Australia (The Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals) is the membership association for professionals working in consumer affairs, complaints management, consumer care and dispute resolution. Providing excellence in services by delivering high level access to complaint training, professional development and networking opportunities.
About the role:
The Learning, Development & Design Manager will be responsible for identifying learning needs and educational programs for SOCAP’s members, whilst conceptualizing, developing and implementing successful training and education programs and events.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Planning, coordinating and delivering a program of ANZ education and member programs
- Research learning programs to assist with development of learning for SOCAP and further increase the available content for delivery
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize and deliver content and programming
- Drive contemporary delivery mechanisms, including face to face, webinars, online learning and blended formats
- Assist with the concept creation, development and implementation of the annual Symposium
- review management of SOCAP communications with external agencies and providers, arrange meetings, conferences and project teams when necessary
- knowledge in content development, CPD, event management, stakeholder engagement and end-to-end project management
- strong understanding of learning, development and design within adult education
- experience in customer orientation and development
- strong research, content development, instructional design and influencing skills
- strong commercial and business acumen, with ability to connect and develop stakeholder relationships
- previous experience within Associations, Memberships, Peak Bodies, Education, NFP or Healthcare highly desirable but not necessary
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment highly desirable
