A bit about the role

You will administrate Council’s Asset Information Management System (AIMS) and other applications controlled by the Department.

This role will support the use of corporate systems, including Geographical Information System (GIS), financial, property and customer request systems, and the integration between these systems and the AIMS. 

What you’ll deliver 

• Coordinate, administer and maintain the integrity life cycle of the AIMS.
• Provide specialist knowledge of the AIMS and its interfaces with other corporate applications.
• Coordinate and support AIMS projects
• Implement version upgrades and software enhancements.
• Develop, document and maintain standards and procedures for users.
• Develop KPI dashboards, reports and enable the use of reporting tools.
• Provide reports and information on assets and asset related attributes for corporate stakeholders.

What you’ll bring 

• Tertiary qualifications in a similar technical or engineering field.
• Proven experience in a similar role involving implementation and ongoing support of computer applications related to asset management.
• Proven experience in programming, e.g., C/C++, SQL or similar and experience in using MS Access and MS Excel.
• Demonstrated in-depth understanding of AIMS. Experience in management of the TechOne AIMS is desirable.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check & Eligibility to Work check.
• A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
