Position Objective:
As a Business Analyst specialising in ERP systems, you'll collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to understand their needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and lead the implementation of innovative technologies. Your role will be instrumental in aligning our IT strategies with the Team's vision and values, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and ethical governance in all initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to meet business objectives.
- Lead and implement the ERP (TechnologyOne) project.
- Provide guidance and technical leadership throughout the software development life cycle.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments for proposed solutions.
- Explore and map business problems, elicit requirements, conduct gap analysis, and outline future desired state process flows.
- Identify dependencies with other systems or projects and maintain a holistic view of IT systems.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimise existing systems.
- Work with business users to create test plans and perform acceptance testing.
- Uphold ethical decision-making and good governance in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Engage in sustainability initiatives and suggest ways to improve recycling, energy, and water consumption.
Selection Criteria:
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in TechnologyOne ERP system implementations.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, systems integration, and system architecture principles.
- Ability to lead and manage a small team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- IT/IS/Computer Science/Software Engineering degree or equivalent experience/training.
