Your new company
You will work for a large public sector client and be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting new or modified operational technology and data products, employing microservice solutions.
Your new role
- Work within an Agile project team to design, build, test, deploy and support new and existing microservices solutions.
- Develop high quality, robust and secure software solutions that meet business and customer expectations
- Provide ongoing software, platform, data and integration analysis
- Participate in the continuous improvement of products, solutions and processes using DevOps, ITIL and Agile practices in a collaborative manner.
- Perform code reviews and analysis to identify faults or complications to support validity, efficiency and consistency of newly developed software and infrastructure systems
- Assist in deployment of component packages and applications in production, and post-implementation support to ensure successful import of packages into environments
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience building microservices using Java (Version 8+, ideally 17).
- Demonstrated experience in the following: Spring Framework, Spring Data - JDBC / JPA (Hibernate), Spring Security, Spring Web Services / Integration (REST and SOAP), Spring Boot, Test Driven Development (TDD with JUnit & Mockito).
What you'll get in return
3-Month Contract with a possibility to extend, $900-$1100 + Super/day, Sydney + WFH
