Join us as a Lead Education Advisor and influence the direction of education at Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE). In this role, you'll drive strategic objectives to enhance strategy, policy, and innovation in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum across Junior to Middle years (P-6). As a Lead Education Advisor, you'll manage teams to develop, enable, and evaluate BCE's responses and processes for transformative education.
About the role:
- >Lead strategic initiatives to enhance strategy, policy, and innovation in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum across Junior to Middle years (P-6)
- Manage teams to develop, enable, and evaluate BCE's responses and processes for transformative education in Primary Schools.
- Seek and provide feedback on emerging school needs and initiatives, collaborating with Cluster Managers/Senior Leaders.
- Conduct advanced analysis of Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum to provide insightful data supporting organisational direction and policy.
- Offer expert advice on curriculum implementation, learning programs, and compliance requirements to support educational excellence to support development, implemention, and review strategic processes and procedures.
About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in leading educational initiatives, building capacity of others, and providing specialised advice in the areas of Learning, Teaching, Curriculum within a school or broader context.
- Extensive experience in educational leadership to lead and manage teams effectively
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and decision-making
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships internally and externally
- Experience in budget management and financial planning
