The Project
CPB Contractors has won the tender for stage one of the new Bundaberg Hospital build. The $1.2 billion project will include 121 new beds across a range of services such as intensive care, coronary, medical, surgical, paediatric, rehabilitation and mental health units. It will also have an expanded emergency department and enhanced clinical support services.

Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced HR and Training Advisor to join the New Bundaberg Hospital project team. This role will be reporting to the HR Manager and will be based on site in Bundaberg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior HR Advisor with organising and tracking training for the project.
- Uploading competencies into the relevant competency management system.
- Scheduling of training to meet the project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of Training for the project.
- Administer HR/Training records including data entry into the applicable Training Systems, ensuring they are accurate and up to date at all times.
- Ensure attendance register sheets are issued, completed for every training session.
- Assist the HR Team with the implementation of HR/Training initiatives as required.
Requirements for this role:
- Tertiary qualification in either Business, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Employee Relations.
- Experience within construction, mining & resources or engineering industries (project experience) preferable.
- Knowledge of relevant statutes and legislation relevant to the area of work, eg environmental legislation, Fair Work Act, Agreements and relevant awards.
- Knowledge of HR frameworks.
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance procedures and processes.
