We are currently seeking an experiencedLead Educator to join ourteam. The ideal educator would be passionate about educating and caring for children but also a team player who offers support when required and is able to share their knowledge freely. Most of all a people person who also values relationships.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Delivering an innovative and high-quality educational program
• Create meaningful documentation
• Maintain the daily running of the room to the service standards
• Ensure learning and development is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children, and within the team
• Provide aesthetically pleasing environments for children that are rich and engaging both indoors and outdoors daily
• Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
• Have fun and interact with the children

Skills and experience

• Have a sound knowledge of the EYLF
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• A current Working With Children's Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Be experienced in a childcare environment
• Be organised and professional
• A genuine passion for the childcare industry
• Be proficient in using childcare software on an iPad and desktop
• Hold Certificate III, Diploma or ECT qualification
• Having prior knowledge of the Montessori philosophy is preferable but not essential
