AddressLead Educator Required for Family-owned Kindy in Nerang
We are seeking a passionate Baby room Educator, for our family owned and run kindy in Nerang.
Available to start within the next few weeks-whilst you train and gain knowledge in familiarising yourself with our current families, babies and train with our Lead educator within the room.
- We are looking for an educator who can build and sustain strong relationships with children, parents, and the local community. You will work closely with your team who will assist you in your role within our baby class..
You must be able to provide and support a program that enables children to develop their own working theories around them, through intentional teaching, spontaneous opportunities and through play. You must be able to provide a creative environment that engages children and encourages them to investigate, explore and extend on their current skills.
We are looking for a team player who can offer support to their fellow colleagues.
As our Lead Educator, you will possess the following attributes:
· Hold a diploma and have lead edu experience.
-Must have strong experience with all age groups.
- Must be computer literate-have experience with programming/ kindyhub
· Strong understanding of the National Quality Standard and National Regulations.
· Demonstrate an ability to work in partnerships with families.
· Demonstrate professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates must possess the following/be willing to obtain:
· Current Senior First Aid certificate which includes CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma.
-Blue card (Must be a valid P)
-Child protection certificate
-Have a true passion for Early Childhood Education and Care-especially the baby and toddler room.
All perm/part time applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday within the hours of operation. (Our Teachers are, however usually given the opportunity to work 4 days a week).
