About You
🌟 You're passionate about developing quality learning experiences for children, recognising each child's uniqueness. You thrive in a community and values-based environment, collaborating with fellow educators to provide top-notch education and care.
📚 As a Lead Educator, you're not just planning programs; you're crafting experiences based on EYLF, NQF, and your expert knowledge. Leading and managing the room, you create a safe, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing learning environment. Safety and culture are your priorities; you support your team and champion change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- 💡 Develop, drive, and implement an educational play-based program that documents and assesses individual and group learning needs.
- 👧 Assess children’s behaviour and development, guiding them positively and fostering empathy and respect.
- 🌈 Provide practical guidance, ensuring top-notch outcomes for children.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:
- 👩🎓 Early Childhood Diploma or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification.
- 🌐 Strong knowledge of Early Childhood education theories and practices, creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- 📜 Adept understanding of relevant legislation, frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- 🛡️ Thorough knowledge of Child Protection Law and a Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card).
- 🚑 Current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification.
- 🌏 Right to work in Australia.
