C&K Corbett Street Community Kindergarten was established in 1913 and has been operating from our current centre since 1922. We have a long-held reputation for providing quality early childhood education in the local community, and many of the children attending our kindy have parents or older siblings who also attended. Our open plan indoor environment celebrates the kindy’s history through the thoughtful arrangement of beuatiful, nature inspired, quality learning resources which the children use in a variety of experiences for creative arts, dramatic play, music, project work and quiet learning and reflection.
Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. And you’ll be supported by a team of kind, humble people and leaders who share their knowledge to help you learn, grow and achieve more than you ever thought possible.

What you’ll bring
Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
