Library lovers assemble! Applications are now open for an exciting and rare opportunity to join the State Library Audience Engagement team in the role of Lead, Marketing for 12 months on a maternity leave contract.
In this role you will be responsible for leading a high performing Marketing team delivering engaging marketing campaigns to support State Library's incredible exhibition, awards, fellowships and event schedule.
Your knowledge and expertise in marketing campaign planning and delivery, digital advertising and campaign performance will be called on to inform the Director, Audience Engagement, and other senior members across the organisation in all things best practice.
Strong written and spoken communication skills, a demonstrated ability to organise and allocate resources and stakeholder engagement experience are all highly desirable.

About you
As a member of our Audience Engagement Branch you will lead a team of marketing officers to attract audiences to and promote State Library's collections, programs and services.
A key focus of this role will be planning marketing solutions that raise the awareness, visitation and profile of State Library's services, collections, and public programs.
What you will do
Your key responsibilities will be:
Leading a high performing Marketing team in the development and implementation of impactful marketing activities designed to drive participation in State Library initiatives and public programming.
Providing high level advice to the Director, Audience Engagement on opportunities to enhance service delivery as well as outcomes of campaigns, to support decision making.
Managing the efficient delivery of marketing services in a way that optimises resources and skills against desired business outcomes and organisational priorities. This includes managing workload allocation and ensuring responsive delivery within timeframe and budget.
Ensuring consistency with State Library's brand architecture, strategy and guidelines, monitoring application internally and externally to maintain integrity.
Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by ensuring conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful and ethical.
